My name is Abby. I am currently pursuing my M.S. in Digital Media at Georgia Tech, where I focus on UX design and social justice. I enjoy sharing stories through different media, from video and design to augmented reality and interactive narratives. My ambition is to use my passion for digital media and social good to design for interactive experiences that inform and connect people.

I was most recently an interactive design intern at Cortina Productions in McLean, Virginia, where I did UX and UI design for museum interactives. My academic work has centered on the intersection of digital media, social justice, and identity, including courses in the Design and Social Interaction Studio. When I'm not doing school work or updating this website, I volunteer at the Center for Civil and Human Rights in Atlanta, pretend I still play the ukulele I got eight years ago, watch video essays on YouTube, and pursue my own personal film projects.

Originally from New York (the state!), I currently live in Atlanta, Georgia. I graduated with a double major in communication (journalism & media) and sociology from SUNY Geneseo in 2016.

Thanks for stopping by!

I am currently seeking a full-time UX design or interaction design role starting May 2018. If you think I'd be a good fit (or you just want to learn more), connect with me!
